CRM visits Guadeloupe Island Geothermal power plants on Friday 23 March.

The CRM group chartered an airplane and flew to the neighboring island of Guadeloupe for a tour of the Geothermal power plants. The members of CRM returned with photos, posters and a Power Point slide show showing all the details of how Geothermal works to generate electrical power in Guadeloupe. The power point presentation is in French, so there will be a short delay while it is being translated for MGPC's English Speaking audience.
Guadeloupe Island can be seen from Montserrat and it is in the same volcanic arc of islands. In fact this whole chain of islands holds potential for Geothermal energy.
CRM (Committee for the Redevelopment of Montserrat) holds Press Conference 3 October, 2007, about the launching of MGPC. Press Conferences notes here.

A brief summary:
MGPC Ltd now formed as a company on Montserrat , Allen Markham and Associates legal Reps.

MGPC has complete Proposal package ready but is not prepared to provide the information  until Government responds to MGPC question.  (Question is in the letter from Lawyer Allen.)

MGPC is a development & project management company. MGPC is a development & project management company, employing the best current experts.

MGPC is totally open and transparent There are  other concerns who have expressed an interest in developing the geothermal resources. Let them come to Montserrat and tell the people what they are prepared to offer for the benefit of the island and its people not the government of the day. If the package is better than that offered by MGPC and in the PUBLIC interest then MGPC would welcome them and work with them.
