Prayer and opening remarks.
1)What is Geothermal ? Short resume of geothermal energy what it is, where it comes from, and how it can be used. Note: no damage will occur to the volcano.
2) Worldwide interest is being shown in Renewable energy sources, from the very large (USA) to the small (Iceland). Montserrat has the possibility to become one of the largest net exporters of power generated through the use of Geothermal energy. The Government appears to be prepared to sit and do nothing while others race past into the future . The delay is costing every family a large amount in the form of excess electricity charges which could be avoided including the increased DELTA management charges.

4) MGPC Ltd now formed as a company on Montserrat , Allen Markham and Associates legal Reps.
5) Allen's letter to Min of Ag (no response from the Government of Montserrat as of 10 October, 2007)
6) MGPC has complete Proposal package ready but is not prepared to provide the information until Government responds to MGPC question. (letter from Lawyer Allen)
MGPC is a development & project management company, employing the best experts, in their field.
7) Make a statement about the Min of AG(Energy) saying that they have been producing an energy policy since 2005. Nothing has happened.
MGPC has studied the CARICOM Draft Energy Policy and provided a complete MONTSERRAT ENERGY POLICY document for the Ministry of Agriculture without cost to them, the response was negative in the extreme.
8) CRM have been lead to believe that the new Director of Communications and Works has been to Plymouth along with a diesel expert who confirmed that the most modern engine -generator unit appears to be well protected and in good condition. He feels it would be sensible to recover it along with the steel framed building and overhead crane before the roof collapses.
CRM wholeheartedly agrees with the proposal , it should have happened 10 years ago. The past management ignored specialist recommendations to resite the unit on the grounds that it was inefficient compared with newer types . Spares were also an issue . The DC3 ceased production in 1945 and is still in service today. The other engines should also be recovered and sold for spares. (via E BAY)
9) CRM intend to roll out a caravan across the Island. There will be members at various appointed places during the next few weeks. They will be asking the population to fill in a simple form expressing their interest in being part of the initial shareholder base of MGPC when the GOVERNMENT agrees to a license and the Prospectus has been raised. The form will also be put in the Reporter and onto the MGPC website so that Montserratians overseas can show solidarity with those at home.
10) MGPC website is up and operational new info is being be added as it becomes available. A form will be included to enable interested parties to make their Interest in share ownership known.
11) MGPC is totally open and transparent There are other concerns who have expressed an interest in developing the geothermal resources. Let them come to Montserrat and tell the people what they are prepared to offer for the benefit of the island and its people not the government of the day. If the package is better than that offered by MGPC and in the PUBLIC interest then MGPC would welcome them and work with them.
